 Marriage Moment

Here is a fun idea:

Every day during the month of November, write down at least one thing that you appreciate about your spouse, just one thing about him or her for which you are thankful. Bundle all your thoughts in some creative way and present them as a gift on Thanksgiving. The joyful response to your gift will be mild in comparison to the joy of appreciation that will glow in your heart all month long!

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.  1Thess 5:18

We are here for you! Call, email or stop on by!

Donation Collected this Sunday - Last Chance!

Our Youth will be cleaning the chairs we use each Sunday as a fund raiser to help them look nice for Dinner Theater (the chairs, not the kids!) Since those of us in the gym and in the surrounding Sunday School classes enjoy the benefit of these chairs and since we will appreciate them even more once they are clean, it has been suggested that we all pitch in to donate $1/chair. There are over 800 chairs so we are talking $800 in donations or more. Any surplus given will go to youth mission trips so any extra you may give will be well used for the Kingdom! We collected $72 this past week and hope to collect more. We will have baskets in each class this Sunday for any who would like to participate!

Noah's Ark Party!

October 31 - 6:00 PM - STBC

Noah's Ark is a safe and fun alternative on Halloween. This awesome event offers plenty of food, games, drama, candy and fun for the whole family. It is a great outreach opportunity as well, so be sure to invite friends and neighbors, especially those who do not have a church home!

Some of our FIT members have been discussing a FIT-wide family service project. AWESOME!!! Great ideas have been put out there for discussion, for example, joining forces with one of our Senior Adult classes to reach out to our home-bound members during the holidays. Look for more information as the project develops and plan now to participate.  If you have ideas, questions or want to be more involved, please contact Minon Frye!

All Star Basketball for Kids!

Registration and volunteers needed now!

All Star basketball is a STBC ministry for Kindergarten through 6th grade kids. All Stars is a program that shares Christ as well as Biblical life lessons, all while teaching good basketball skills.

The goal is to have church members coach these teams with the help of team parents.   You don’t have to be a basketball star to coach, you just need a willing heart.  The church provides all that you need to have a successful ministry as well as a successful season.

For more info contact Karen Pirtle or click on the link below for info and registration forms.

We will keep you posted via email with specific prayer needs to lift up each week. We are getting organized now. Email Carol below if you have not already signed up in class!
