 Marriage Moment

Becoming and Staying One

Many couples, at their weddings, light a "unity candle" and blow out their individual candles. This symbolizes husband and wife dying to themselves in order to give birth to something new and much more intimate, beautiful, and mysterious—"two becoming one." One of the best ways to become one and to stay one is to spend time together, and that can happen when you and your spouse talk, celebrate special occasions, set goals, go shopping, pay bills, play tennis, or study a devotional book.

Time is such a precious commodity - once spent it is gone forever. Be sure to invest this commodity well ... in your spouse and in your marriage!

We are here for you! Call, email or stop on by!

THIS SUNDAY - March 8th - STBC Bible Study

NO, March 8th is not the actual 5th Sunday in March. BUT, time with our own John and Shannon Brookshire is short, and we wanted to be sure to hear from them about their vibrant ministry and their family life as they serve as missionaries in Asia. SO, our 5th Sunday in March will actually happen on THIS SUNDAY, March 8th. Be sure to come early and get a great seat!

 Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Tuesdays - 6:45am - 8:00am - STBC Conference Room

Every Tuesday morning a group of FiT men gather to study the week's Quarterly lesson and prepare for Sunday. We share prayer requests and try to make it through the lesson (with varying levels of success). This group is open to anyone who would like to attend. The conference room is just beside the church office at the main entrance.

Prayer Team for Pastor Search

Four members of FIT are serving on the Pastor Search Committee:  Robin Curry, Mike Brown, Krista Smith, and Erin Zimmerman. We will keep you posted via email with specific prayer needs to lift up each week. We are getting organized now. Email Carol below if you have not already signed up in class!
