 Marriage Moment

The Supreme Court of the United States made the decision Friday to legalize same-sex marriage. This decision will forever change our country, and not just regarding marriage, as we once knew it.

To better understand the impact of this devastating decision, please take the time to listen to this excellent summary by Albert Mohler sent to us by Mike Pierce regarding the decision and its impact on our nation and on us as Christians. Dr. Mohler an American theologian and the ninth president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. His poignant remarks help to educate us all on this critical issue.

I Peter 4:7, 12-16
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

We are here for you! Call, text or come on by!
