LOCAL MISSIONS
At South Tulsa Student Ministry we feel that it is important to be God's hands and feet to our local community. In the past, our youth group has worked with: The Ministry Center at the Alan Davis Building, Tulakogee, Day Spring Villa, and various other community focused projects. We also have a huge city wide event at our church called Care Xplosion every November that involves youth groups from all over the Tulsa area. Students bring canned food and particpate in a night of worship and encouragement. Our student ministry is involved in local mission projects like these several times a year.
REGIONAL MISSIONS
We have recently been involved in many regional mission opportunities in places like Biloxi MS, New Orleans LA, and Chicago IL. During these projects we work with children, do contruction, etc...Many of the regional missions trip we're involved in are through World Changers. You can expect us to take part in at least one regional mission experience a year.
INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS
We feel it's important to reach out to the nations with the Gospel, and feel it's important for students to get out of their comfort zone by experiencing international missions. A couple of countries we've served in recently have been in Belize and Brazil. Our student ministry typically provides one international mission opportunity a year. MISSION BELIZE: CENTRAL AMERICA (MARCH 12-19) $1200
We’ll once again be going to do missions in Belize this coming Spring Break. The trip be $1200 before fundraisers which will begin soon along with service projects and training. Spots are limited! SIGN UP & GET A PASSPORT! A $200 deposit is due October 24.
