The recreation ministry of South Tulsa Baptist Church exists to strengthen God’s people, body, mind, and soul, and to seek and save those who are lost.
"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind, press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus"

Sports Ministries:
Men’s Basketball outreach
provided in a “pick up” game format to allow church members to invite friends for basketball and fellowship. Games are held each Thursday evening at 7:00 in the gym.
All Star Basketball
This ministry has come about to teach children basketball skills in a Christian fellowship environment. Competition takes a backseat to sportsmanship. Devotions are led at half time of all games. Registration begins in October, and games begin in January.
Softball Leagues
We have teams involved in league play each Spring and Fall. Join us for fun, fellowship, and some exercise. Games are played Thursday evenings at Haikey Creek Softball Complex. The Fall season is slated to start on September 10. Come join us as we are always looking for new players. Click here to contact Matt if you are interested.
Golf Tournament and Retreats
Every year many members of our church participate a "scramble" golf tournament to benefit DaySpring Villa, Click here if you are interested.
Zumba
Four times a week, we offer classes to stay in shape with a South American flair. A couple of our instructors are actually from Brazil and bring a wonderful international flavor to this exercise time. Please click here if you are interested in participating.
Senior Olympics
In conjunction with semi-annual prime timer socials we will be providing low impact aerobic events for those attending the socials.

STBC Night at the Drillers - July 4, 2010
4th of July at South Tulsa Baptist - Exciting Worship, Great Meal, Super Baseball, and a Climatic Fireworks display as we celebrate our freedom in Christ and as a country!
Noah’s Ark Festival
This carnival like event is held to provide families with a fun and safe alternative to trick or treating on Halloween. Fun, Games, and prize give always are just a few features of this huge fall festival.
Family Fun Night
A carnival held in conjunction with the conclusion of our Vacation Bible School. We have numerous carnival games and a cookout and fun for the whole family.
Held in September, this event is an outreach event to invite people, to come be a part of our fellowship. Featuring over 300 vintage automobiles, there will be games for the kids, cars for dad, and round table discussions for mom! Fun for the whole family! Checkout a video from the 2009 Car Show -
