On August 31st all our students will move up to the next grade in our Sunday Bible study groups! Students won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to meet their new teacher and make a fresh commitment to the Lord and His Church. We also are celebrating the arrival of the new 7th graders! We'd like all of our families with youth to attend the "Everyone Come Banquet" in the Fellowship Hall at Noon. At the banquet we'll cast the vision for the new year of ministry. If your family is involved in any way with our student ministry it will be important for you to be there!
The Allnighter is back! Prepare yourself for all night fun! This is a great opportunity to invite those friends that wouldn’t normally attend a regular church event. Activities include things like Genghis Grill, Andy B's, Sky Zone, Bubble Soccer, and more! The Church Medical Release Forms are available at www.stbc.net or click here. We’re inviting all middle school girls and their friends to our pajama party coming up soon! There will be pizza, snacks, games, and an awesome movie! Wear your PJ’s, bring blankets, pillows, and a friend! For over 20 years, See You at the Pole has been about students leading out in prayer, asking God to reveal Who He is on campuses all over the United States and the world. On September 21 at 7 a.m., gather at flagpole, pray for your school, friends, families. Ask God to reveal who He is. Do your part in planning and promoting! Since Wednesday, Sept 21 is See You At The Pole day we’re going to load up our buses and head down the street to Evergreen Baptist Church for a community wide event called “See You At The Party!” There will be a Dunk Tank, Basketball, Volleyball, Free Food, Games, and Giveaways! There will be a great worship band and speaker! Great event to invite your friends too! Philip wants all the youth to go, so there’s no choir that night. Join us!
Care Xplosion IS students on task putting ministry in motion by collecting canned goods to spread God's grace through groceries! It's a combined effort to meet the HUGE needs of the Ministry Center for the holiday season. During select leading up to the event we'll load up students to “Blitz” several neighborhoods and ask our STBC homes for food donations for the Ministry Center. Attending at least one Care Xplosion Blitz is a requirement for those going to Belize. The youth Sunday School class that brings the most food get’s an amazing breakfast and get’s to be on the cover of the Channel! We’ll also be going to adult Sunday School classes to ask for donations. We're asking youth groups from all over the Tulsa area to bring lots and lots of non-perishable food items to the Care Xplosion Experience at our church on Nov 9 (6:30-8:00). At The Experience we'll have amazing worship with a live band and an engaging speaker. This will be an event students will certainly want to bring their friends to. MINISTRY CENTER DAY: JAN 16, 10AM-2PM (M.L.K. DAY)
This Martin Luther King day we’ll be spending some time serving at the Ministry Center. Students will sort food, clothes, etc... We’ll basically work on whatever needs to be done. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to participate. However this is a “Mission Day” requirement for those who are going to Belize with us this Spring Break. It will make you feel great to serve and will be lots of fun! Join us!
DAMASCUS WEEKEND: YOUTH EVANGELISM CONFERENCE AT FALLS CREEK! (DATES T.B.A.)
Let's go back to Falls Creek! Joins thousands of students from our state as we rally together to be encouraged to take the Gospel into our schools! This will be an evangelism training event like you've never seen before! We're leaving at 3:30pm on Friday and will be back Sunday by 2:00pm. Bring money for 2 road meals. This will be a great retreat and away to motivate and equip yourself to reach out to your friends with the Gospel! More info and affordable price $50! Just bring the money with you of Friday. Also make sure and bring warm clothes, bedding, your Bible and your filled out STBC 2017 Medical Release Form. and the Falls Creek STUDENT Release Form.
This is the most exciting and memorable trips we offer! Belize is the perfect place to get an introduction to international missions. One team will be doing the Freedom Drama and evangelism in local Schools and Banana Farms. The other team will be doing VBS, recreation ministry, door-to-door evangelism, Bible studies, etc, in a village called Monkey River. Mission participants must be flexible and willing to serve on whatever team they are needed to be on. Training and service projects are happening now. Training and Service Requirements.
