Joins thousands of students from our state as we rally together to be encouraged to take the Gospel into our school for the new year. The speaker will be Brent Crowe with Student Leadership University! Cody Dunbar will be doing worship and Propaganda will be sharing the spoken word!  We’ll stay the night at Woodland Hills Baptist Church on the 8th. promotion sunday banquet PROMOTION SUNDAY IS AUGUST 17TH: MAKE PLANS TO JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL LUNCH AT NOON!
On August 17th all our students will move up to the next grade in our Sunday Bible study groups! Students won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to meet their new teacher and make a fresh commitment to the Lord and His Church.  We also are celebrating the arrival of the new 7th graders! We'd like all of our families with youth to attend the "Everyone Come Banquet" in the Fellowship Hall at Noon.  At the banquet we'll cast the vision for the new year of ministry.  If your family is involved in any way with our student ministry it will be important for you to be there!

The Allnighter is back! Prepare yourself for all night fun! This is a great opportunity to invite those friends that wouldn’t normally attend a regular church event. Airsoft is one of the funnest and fastest growing adventure activities!  If you're not sure what it is click here to learn. Airsoft Tulsa's indoor field is 30,000sqft with a 4.5 Acre of Outdoor Field.  There's over 20 different bunkers to hide and shoot your enemy. We will be able to rent all the equipment, safty gear, etc.. Click here for the Waiver.  This will be a great opportunity to bring those friends who wouldn't normaly come to a regular church service!  Bring some money for lunch on the way. care xplosion logo no border CARE XPLOSION: NOVEMBER 5 (6:30-8) @ STBC *CITY WIDE FOOD DRIVE FOR THE MINISTRY CENTER
Care Xplosion IS students on task putting ministry in motion by collecting canned goods to spread God's grace through groceries! It's a combined effort to meet the HUGE needs of the Ministry Center for the holiday season.  We're asking youth groups from all over the Tulsa area to bring lots and lots of non-perishable food items to the Care Xplosion Experience at our church on Nov 6 (6:30-8:00).  At The Experience we'll have amazing worship with a live band and an engaging speaker. This will be an event students will certainly want to bring their friends to.  *STBC students pay attention to ministry publications, messages, and announcments for all the different ways we are raising food this year! skeet day 2013FATHER/SON/DAUGHTER SKEET SHOOTING DAY: *NOVEMBER 9 (12:15-4:30) TULSA GUN CLUB
We’re inviting Dad’s, Son’s, and Daughters to join us for an exciting day of skeet shooting after church at the Tulsa Gun Club! We’ll leave after church (drive or ride the bus), grab a quick lunch, and then head to the shooting range.  Bring: $10 shooting fee, a shot gun (we’ll have extra’s if you don’t own one), a box of shells (shot size needs to be 7.5, 8, or 9), safty glasses and ear protection. This will be the ultimate Christmas party ever! With the unbelievable Hawaiian decorations, you won’t even believe you’re in the youth room! We’ll have great fun and great food, so come hungry. Make sure you skip the regular Wednesday night meal in the fellowship hall. There will be lots of games, music, and free giveaways. This is the most exciting and memorable trips we offer!  Belize is the perfect place to get an introduction to international missions.  We’ll be doing a drama outreach, working with the people on the bananna farms and in the seine bight area doing VBS, door to door evangelism, etc... At Dare2Share you’ll be super charged to share our faith! It's the best teen evangelism conference in the nation hands down! This years theme is Fearless (Video Here). We are trying to put together another trip once again.  It’s a little tricky because it requires students miss a day of school (Friday). If your interested in going ask your parents and sign up. The cost is only $85! Participants need to be at the church at 8am on April 17th.  We’ll be staying in a hotel for one night only and will be back late on Saturday night.  Bring at least enough food money for 4 meals.  You may want to bring some extra money for snacks, conference shirts, CD’s etc...  Hope you can join us!

SENIOR SUNDAY: MAY 17 (BREAKFAST, RECOGNITION SERVICE, SLIDE SHOW) GET KAREN PICS.
On May 17th we’re going to celebrate with our graduating seniors by having breakfast together at BBD 2’s. (Seniors only) at 8:30am, then recognizing them in the 10:45 service. (Seniors please bring your cap & gown) Then that evening at 6:00pm we’ll have a slide show & reception. (Please bring 25 pictures and a Christian Song to Karen) Let’s all make plans to come and encourage our Seniors as they embark on this new chapter of life!

CHOIR TOUR: MAY 26-30 [$125] *BE FAITHFUL TO REHEARSALS!   VIDEO
Choir Tour will be here before you know it.  Location to be announced soon. The youth choir practices every Wednesday night at 5:30 during the school year. There will be a meeting for parents and students on May 17th after the 10:45am service in the choir room.  On May 26th be at the church at 8:00am to load the charter bus.  We’ll return on May 30th around 4:00pm.  You’ll need at least enough money for 3-4 fast food meals. If you’re looking for a life changing week, Falls Creek’s the place! It’s located in the beautiful Arbuckle Mountains in Davis, OK and it’s the largest youth camp in the world! Falls Creek participants need to arrive at the church at 8:00am Monday morning. We’ll return on *Friday Night around 1:00am. Everyone needs to come to Parent/Camper Meeting on June 8th at Noon in the Fellowship Hall.  Make sure and pack clothes for the theme nights. mission week logo MISSION WEEK: LOCAL MISSION TRIP (JULY 6-8) *FREE
Our students will have a worthwhile opportunity to serve the Tulsa community through what we called “Mission Week!” Students will arrive at the church at 9:00am and serve until around 2:30pm.  We’ll be working with the Burmese people in the Bandon Trails Apartments just south of ORU.  We’ll be building relationships and sharing the gospel in a number of creative ways. We'll get to the apartment each morning and canvas the area inviting people to the days activites.  Here's the schedule for the program after that...

Lead THE Cause University is a week-long leadership training experience designed for students who are serious about advancing Christ’s kingdom. We’re not talking about a typical summer camp here! We’ll be working intimately with the Dare 2 Share staff to come up with a customized strategy to come home with that fits our group as we seek to make an impact for Christ! We'll leave at 5:00am on July 13th and get back around 9:00pm on July 19th.  senior trip logo 2014SENIOR TRIP 2015: ROYAL GORGE. (JULY 27-30) *WHITE WATER RAFTING / ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES!
We’re planning on going to the Royal Gorge in Colorado for adventure activates such as white water rafting, zip lining, hiking, royal gorge bridge, etc… We are taking the upcoming seniors and graduates. The cost is $200. The cost goes up to $250 if not paid in full by June 22nd. We’ll be staying in a great cabin! Seniors, let us know ASAP if you want to participate!
